Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate, maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on building HVAC equipment and systems.
2. Access the building automation system to make necessary adjustments.
3. Repair heating and air conditioning systems.
4. Oversee the completion of preventive maintenance records.
5. Train staff on preventive maintenance procedures for HVAC systems.
6. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, practicing proper safety techniques and procedures.
7. Perform emergency repairs around the clock to address immediate safety concerns.
8. Order parts and materials needed for maintenance and repairs.
9. May supervise maintenance staff and contractors on a project basis.
10. Perform related duties as required.

Additional Requirements:

• Mandatory overtime may be required based on hospital operational needs.
• Successful completion of a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug test is required.
• All employees are subject to drug testing for probable cause as per agency policies.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:	None required.
Licensure/Certifications:	May require specific licensure or certifications based on assignment.
Experience:	At least 2 years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in maintenance and repair work in one or more building trades (e.g., electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting).
