We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Responsibilities: • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced • Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed • Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical. • Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule. • Demonstrates superior customer service. • Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed. • Loading and unloading building materials and tools. • Being compliant with all health and safety regulations. • Following instructions and completing work orders online. Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED or equivalent • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred. • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical. • Ability to work independently and with other team members. • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues. • Desire to provide excellent customer service. • A sense of pride in your work. • Ability to communicate well with people. • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. • Physical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects. • Part of the on-call rotation. • Must have own tools. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
