As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of our properties by performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing repair needs promptly and efficiently.

We are currently looking for a Building Maintenance Technician in Portland, Oregon. The position is for 30 hours a week, which qualifies as full-time and benefits-eligible. Exact schedule to be determined based on the needs of the community.

Location: Onsite at a specific HOA/Condominium community in Downtown Portland

• This position reports to a specific Homeowner Association (HOA)/Condominium community in the Portland metro area.
• Perform regular inspections and repairs of common areas, facilities, equipment, and recreational areas. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or renovations.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and collaborate with management to address community concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule and oversee facility repairs, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks.
• Perform seasonal maintenance duties.
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in property management maintenance.
• Knowledge of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
• A valid driver’s license, active insurance, and reliable transportation.
