Storey Lake Club in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Staff Member as part of Troon. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance across the facility, ensure safety, and support landscaping and grounds upkeep.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree or two years of related experience, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn within a hospitality-focused environment. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, and PTO.

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment is preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for buildings and grounds (electrical, mechanical, structural).
• Maintains exterior and interior cleanliness and appearance of facilities.
• Reports needed supplies to supervisor and coordinates with vendors.
• Conducts HVAC, plumbing and electrical system checks and safety inspections.
• Keeps inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and trains junior staff if applicable.

Description

Storey Lake Club, located in Kissimmee, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Building Maintenance Staff Member! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.

Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.

Performing quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.

Checking and responding to security and safety issues.

Testing and recommending new maintenance products.

Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers.

Keeping documents of inspections and problems.

Doing landscaping, pool maintenance and pest control.

Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies.

Training junior staff, if applicable.

Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with Building maintenance.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge in operatingelectrical, plumbing, HVAC and pool equipment.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
