Job summary

Wellness Ridge Homeowners, located in Clermont, FL, is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Houseman to support daily repairs and upkeep of the facility, grounds, and interior spaces. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and hospitality management.

The role requires basic maintenance experience and a willingness to work a Wednesday through Saturday schedule, with a focus on safety, reliability, and service quality. Physical mobility to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas of the operation including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects.
• Maintains exterior cleanliness and appearance of the facility (trash, sweeping, seating).
• Maintains interior cleanliness (trash, vacuuming, dusting, furniture arrangement).
• Identifies and reports supply needs to supervisor.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

General Purpose

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.

Essential Duties

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands

Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses

No certifications or licenses are required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Building maintenance experience preferred.
• Wednesday through Saturday.
