The Ledger Law Firm is a premier personal injury law firm, recognized for its commitment to excellence, client advocacy, and operational distinction. Our Dallas Division operates within a 15,000-square-foot, museum-quality building located in the heart of Uptown—an environment that demands a high standard of care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Building Maintenance Manager to oversee and maintain the integrity, functionality, and presentation of our high-end office facility. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated professional who takes pride in preemptive problem-solving and delivering five-star facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and supervise maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, security systems, and building automation
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the building operates flawlessly and safely
  • Coordinate with licensed vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations
  • Manage and maintain detailed maintenance logs, supply inventories, and equipment schedules
  • Ensure all spaces—interior and exterior—are clean, functional, and visually impeccable at all times
  • Provide rapid response to urgent repair needs or service requests
  • Oversee seasonal projects and improvement initiatives in coordination with firm leadership

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance, preferably in high-end or luxury environments
  • Certification or license in one or more skilled trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general contracting, or low-voltage systems) strongly recommended
  • Demonstrated ability to manage systems and infrastructure to museum-quality standards
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and responsibly without direct supervision
  • Familiarity with smart home/office technologies (e.g., Control4, Lutron, Sonos) a plus
