Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer for PM shifts (2:30 pm – 11 pm). You will respond to guest maintenance requests, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and resort equipment, and ensure pool and spa water quality.

The role requires 1–2 years in building maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability on weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on building maintenance or engineering experience in hospitality or resort environments.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Weekend availability and PM shift (2:30 pm–11 pm).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency


• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and resort equipment


• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, chemical balance, and operation of resort pools and hot tubs


• Participate in emergency response and regular safety compliance training procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment


• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool systems
