Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties for code compliance.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure regulatory alignment and identify issues.
• Inspect during construction phases for structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety compliance.
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Issue citations or stop-work orders as necessary to enforce codes.
• Assist in training new inspectors and support continuous professional development.
• Represent the department professionally with internal and external partners.
