Work Schedule | 10:00 pm - 6:30 am; Sunday - Thursday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary. Mandatory Personnel This employee is designated as "mandatory" and, when contacted to report to work, is expected to reach the campus as expeditiously as possible using normal precautions as dictated by the adverse weather conditions. |
Primary Purpose of Position | This position is the Building Environmental Services Supervisor for the Team 8 Floor Crew, responsible for directing and overseeing personnel and procedures of the Building Services unit during the standard Sunday-Thursday workweek and on the weekend as building and programmatic needs dictate. The supervisor must ensure excellent customer service and accurate set ups, personnel management, and APPA Level II quality cleaning while adhering to LEED Silver and GS 42, green cleaning standards. This position manages the Building Services unit and directly supervises 1 supervisor and 8 Building Services employees working in the completion of specialized floor care activities. |
Minimum Education/Experience | Required Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, and one year of experience in the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from high school and five years experience in the area of work assigned, three of which were in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
