Job summary

Kane Realty Corporation is seeking a Building Engineer to manage daily operations and maintenance of a Class A office building. The role requires knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and the ability to coordinate with contractors to keep the property running efficiently.

You will work with the Property Manager to develop annual and capital budgets, respond quickly to emergencies, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of BAS and work order systems.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and technicians.
• Work with Property Manager on budgets and capital plans.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls.
