Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Building Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair on building systems at assigned properties. The role demands technical skills, safety focus, and coordination with management and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will handle electrical, HVAC and life-safety tasks, follow safety protocols, and document work orders while supporting after-hours emergencies on a 24x7 on-call basis.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the building operation/maintenance field preferred.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Handler License required.
• NATE Certified HVAC Technician
• Refrigeration Operating Engineer or Stationary Engineer License required.
• Ability to work extended hours and be available for 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes and safety regulations related to building operations.
• Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on electrical, HVAC and life-safety systems.
• Responds to HVAC calls and monitors building automation systems (BAS).
• Maintains and updates records for work orders and tenant requests.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and on-site management for repairs and projects.
• Assists in monitoring OSHA requirements and safety programs.
