Job summary

Required: 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license, Class C driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED, plus six months of HVAC maintenance experience; essential duties include safety compliance and emergency readiness.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Six (6) months of maintenance, repair, installation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
  • Must possess and maintain a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer’s License as established by the Maryland Board of Licensing and Regulation.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class C driver’s license with no more than six (6) points.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules, and leads subordinates in maintenance of mechanical and non-mechanical systems.
  • Operate building environmental systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical, and related items.
  • Review and complete documentation related to daily performance.
  • Assist shop and contract personnel with work at assigned buildings.
  • Observe safety regulations and MOSH/OSHA standards at all times.
