Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring Building Engineer I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems. The role requires safety-focused hands-on work with HVAC, electrical and life-safety systems, plus availability for after-hours emergencies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, EPA Refrigerant Handler license, and 3+ years in building operation; NATE HVAC certification is a plus. On-site position with opportunities to work across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in building operation/maintenance preferred.
• EPA Refrigerant Handler License required.
• NATE Certified HVAC Technician preferred.
• Refrigeration Operating Engineer or Stationary Engineer License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and on-call rotations as needed.
• Coordinate with management and subcontractors for schedules and repairs.
• Follow safety regulations and build code requirements in daily operations.
