Job summary

Endeavor Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Building Engineer II in Austin, TX to maintain and optimize building systems across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing domains. You will monitor BAS data, implement energy-saving strategies, and supervise maintenance projects to uphold certifications and performance.

Daily duties include overseeing preventive maintenance, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
5-7 years building engineering or closely related field with some project supervision experience.
SMT preferred/ classes started toward SMA.
Valid driver’s license.
CFC Universal License (or within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

Maintain familiarity with HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, air handlers, and rooftop units.
Oversee preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
Monitor building automation system and adjust temperature, schedules, and pressures.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams; guide basic circuitry repairs and vendor management.
Inspect plumbing systems and coordinate major repairs with vendors.
Manage fire life safety systems and ensure code compliance.
Assist construction management with plan reviews for capital projects.
Perform regular interior and exterior building inspections and maintain records.
Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company directives.
