Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility equipment.

This is a Monday–Friday day shift position supporting a leading aluminum packaging client within the Engineering and Technical Services team. This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep critical operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
• Review building systems to ensure operations meet design conditions prescribed by the client.
