Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a senior building enclosure expert to provide technical leadership and regional oversight across the Southeast. The role emphasizes client interaction, project oversight, and mentoring junior staff within a growing market.

Candidates should hold advanced engineering/architecture credentials and extensive experience, including professional licensure, with a strong emphasis on business development and regional project management.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB) or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) credentials preferred.
• IIBEC certifications (RRC/RWC/REWC/RBEC/CBECxP) or UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing projects and providing technical leadership in building enclosure work.
• Performing technical report reviews and quality control.
• Preparing and reviewing proposals for clients.
• Leading business development and marketing efforts within the region.
• Maintaining and developing client interactions to grow services.
• Leading and coaching junior staff members in the Southeast region.

• Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting building enclosure staff within the region.
• Responsibilities also include performing the following:
• Performing technical report reviews
• Preparing and reviewing proposals
• Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
• Leading and coaching junior staff members
• Performing responsibilities at the regional level
• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following:
• Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Registered Architect (R.A.)
• International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP
• University of Wisconsin‐Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE
• 12+ years of relevant professional related experience
