Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a senior technical leader to support building enclosure projects across the Houston region. You will oversee project delivery, review technical reports, prepare proposals, and drive client engagement while mentoring junior staff.

The candidate should have a BS or MS in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering, professional licensure (P.E. or RA), and 12+ years of experience, with a senior reviewer designation preferred from a competitor firm.

• Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting building enclosure staff within the region.
• Responsibilities also include performing the following:
• Overseeing projects
• Performing technical report reviews
• Preparing and reviewing proposals
• Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
• Leading and coaching junior staff members
• Performing responsibilities at the regional level
• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following:
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Registered Architect (R.A.)
  • International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP
  • University of Wisconsin‑Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE
• 12+ years of relevant professional related experience
• Candidates must hold senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm
