Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a senior building enclosure consultant to provide regional technical leadership in the Southeast. You will oversee projects, review technical reports, and prepare proposals while expanding client relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/MS in civil or architectural engineering, be licensed as a PE or RA, and carry IIBEC or CxP certifications. This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and regional marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering preferred.
• Licensed or certified as at least one: P.E., R.A., IIBEC qualifications (RRC/RWC/REWC/RBEC/CBECxP).
• UW–Madison BECxP and CxA+BE also listed as acceptable credentials.
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience and senior reviewer or equivalent designation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing projects within the Southeast region and leading staff.
• Providing technical report reviews and preparing/reviewing proposals.
• Engaging in business development and marketing through client interactions.
• Leading and coaching junior staff and building enclosure specialists.
• Performing regional duties and supporting building enclosure staff.

Job description

• The candidate can be located in any ECS established location within the Southeast Subsidiary.**


• Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting building enclosure staff within the region.


• Building Envelope Commissioning experience highly preferred.


• Responsibilities also include performing the following:


• Performing technical report reviews


• Preparing and reviewing proposals


• Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions


• Leading and coaching junior staff members


• Performing responsibilities at the regional level
