Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or IIBEC certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science & infrastructure related testing and consulting services.
• Assist with specialized building enclosure testing.
• Document QA observations and prepare field reports of findings.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of IBC and local building codes as they relate to the building enclosure.
• Interact with staff on a variety of projects.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff.
• Interface with contractors and site personnel daily.
• Inform supervisor of changing site conditions and additional testing.
• Prioritize tasks to satisfy project requirements in consultation with supervisors.
• Develop basic technical writing and contribute to reports under supervision.
