The role requires leadership, sound judgment, and experience in child-caring settings. Shift coverage includes weekends and holidays, and you will contribute to documentation, crisis planning, and program support.

Qualifications

• Education & experience requirements include HS diploma/GED with 4+ years in a child-caring setting, or 2+ years of college with 2 years’ experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to apply therapeutic interactions with youth.

This role is responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and smooth operation of the building and its programs. The Building Coordinator serves as the point person during crisis situations, provides real-time guidance and support to direct care staff, and ensures that the therapeutic environment remains safe and well-organized. The ideal candidate will have strong judgment, leadership skills, and experience in a child caring institution or residential setting.**Key Responsibilities:****Safety & Crisis Management*** Monitor and maintain building safety and security at all times* Act as the primary contact during emergencies such as medical incidents, behavioral crises, severe weather, or security breaches* Coordinate emergency procedures and communication in real time* Conduct hourly rounds to ensure effective supervision and programming**Staff Support & Coordination*** Provide in-the-moment coaching, direction, and support to direct care staff* Review daily coverage and reassign staff to meet program and crisis needs* Designate priority staff for crisis intervention or protective supervision* Accept and notify call-ins to designated staff to ensure adequate shift coverage* Monitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, and departmental expectations**Program & Environment Oversight*** Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation and reports* Maintain a healthy, safe, and organized physical environment* Support the implementation of individualized plans and therapeutic programming**Schedule:*** Shifts are scheduled as determined by the Programming Directors* Flexibility is required, including participation in weekend and holiday rotation as necessary* Must be able to respond promptly to emergency situations* Must be able to stay alert during all assigned shifts**Comprehensive Employee Benefits Package**At **T.C.
