Job summary

T.C. Harris School & Academy, a MyPath Company, seeks a Building Coordinator to oversee safety, security, and smooth operation of our programs. You will be the point person during crises, guiding direct care staff and ensuring a safe therapeutic environment.

The role demands strong judgment, leadership, and experience in child-caring settings. Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in a child-caring setting.
• 2+ years of college with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience (preferred: social or behavioral sciences).
• Demonstrated skills in therapeutic interactions with youth

Responsibilities

• Oversee building safety and crisis management.
• Act as primary contact during emergencies.
• Coordinate emergency procedures in real time.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching to direct care staff.
• Review daily coverage and reassign staff as needed.
• Monitor staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Support implementation of individualized plans and therapeutic programming.
