Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled building controls technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems on customer sites.

You will troubleshoot complex control systems and provide detailed documentation and training to customers. In this role, you will mentor junior technicians, collaborate with branch leadership, and help drive improvements in energy efficiency and system performance.

Qualifications

• Commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and general servicing of building control systems.
• Mentor and train control technicians and service technicians on building automation activities.
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through on-site customer interface and thorough project documentation.
• Develop field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements and assist sales with technical recommendations.
