Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Commercial Controls Technician for our North America team. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair and commissioning of building automation systems on-site, ensuring high customer satisfaction with professional service and clear communication.

You will diagnose complex control system issues, mentor junior technicians, generate field proposals, and help document project records while promoting system enhancements and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to explain technical information to others.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex building automation systems.
• Mentor technicians on building automation activities.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits or upgrades.
• Prepare and submit project documentation and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction and upsell where appropriate.
