Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning and servicing of building control systems on site, with a focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Under minimal supervision, you will mentor other technicians, prepare project documentation, and provide on-site training and safety leadership while promoting system enhancements and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Vocational school or associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to install and service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building control systems.
• Provide high levels of on-site customer service and mentorship to technicians.
• Prepare project documentation and field sketches for engineering corrections.
