Job summary

Johnson Controls in Indiana is seeking an engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems including fire, security, and low voltage subsystems to meet project requirements.

You will develop complex software programs, perform commissioning, and provide submittals to customers, consultants, and field teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and proper operation while collaborating with contractors and owner teams. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 3 years' experience.
• Knowledge of construction or HVAC industry.
• Experience with building control systems and subsystems.
• Experience with JCI software programming.
• Familiarity with low voltage building subsystems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and operate building control systems to meet project requirements.
• Develop software programs and commissioning to ensure proper operation.
• Provide submittals and communication to customers, consultants and field teams.
• Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules and BOMs for submittals.
• Travel to project sites as required.
