Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications to build an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) positions. Adjunct instructors may teach at the Lex D.
Walters Campus and/or at one of the college’s six county centers located in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools.

Adjunct faculty are expected to serve as professional team members who support the mission and vision of the college while performing their duties with the highest level of quality and service.
A bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline is required, or an associate’s degree with demonstrated competencies in building construction.
A South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) Residential Builder’s License or General Contractor’s License is preferred.
These are temporary, part‑time positions.
