Job summary

Metrokcicc seeks a qualified building code professional to oversee regulatory codes for the City of Mission, managing planning review and inspection from permit submission to final occupancy.

You will evaluate life safety systems, review architectural/engineering plans for code compliance, and conduct inspections to ensure adherence to adopted codes. You will meet with designers, developers, owners, and contractors, and assist the public with code interpretations.

Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory codes for construction in city or municipal settings.
• Ability to review architectural/engineering plans for code compliance.
• Experience conducting inspections and tests per adopted codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning review and inspection processes from permit to occupancy.
• Evaluate life safety systems for compliance with codes.
