Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a field inspector in Texas to conduct multi-disciplinary building inspections across electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural and plumbing systems, plus site observations of foundations, slabs, framing and roofing.

Responsibilities include plan reviews, daily reports, and promoting services through client interactions. A valid driver's license and state certifications are required; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
