Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking field inspectors to perform third party inspections across electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing and fire safety disciplines. You will assess foundations, slabs, framing, roofing and related construction, and review plans for required revisions while coordinating with contractors and engineers.

You will also submit daily reports and participate in business development activities, promoting ECS services and ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
