Job summary

ECS Southwest, LLP is hiring an inspector to perform third party inspections across electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety areas on construction sites in Texas. You will assess foundations, slabs, framing, and roofing, and prepare daily field reports and client interactions.

The role requires two years of code compliance inspection experience, a high school diploma or GED, NCP CCI certifications in MEP disciplines, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
  • Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
  • Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
