ECS Southwest, LLP is seeking a qualified Building Inspector in Texas to perform third-party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing and fire safety inspections. You will review plans, identify required revisions, and coordinate with contractors, engineers and architects to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting foundations, slabs, framing, roofing, submitting daily reports, and contributing to business development while maintaining ECS safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver’s license is required.
