Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Texas seeks a Construction Inspector to perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural and plumbing inspections, and to review plans for potential revisions. You will prepare daily reports and engage in client development while following ECS safety policies.

The role requires at least 2 years of code compliance inspection experience, and you must hold the NCP CCI certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections
• Perform inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity
• Perform plan reviews and determine if the permitted design plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the contractors, engineers and/or architect
• Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy
• Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections
• Follow ECS safety procedures and policies
