Responsibilities:

• Perform third‑party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
• Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing, and related construction activity.
• Review plans and determine if permitted design plans require revisions; recommend changes to contractors, engineers and/or architects.
• Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports in accordance with ECS policy.
• Market services by maintaining client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections.
• Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
• Certifications required for all types of testing performed.
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state of employment.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Valid driver's license required if driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary.
