Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking a Building Automation Controls Technician for a 12-14 month temporary assignment at our Dover, NJ site. The role focuses on troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC controls and building systems to support field technicians and building occupants.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with BACnet, electrical wiring, and control systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in building automation and instrumentation field
• Experience with mechanical/HVAC systems
• Knowledge of BACnet protocol and network architecture

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, relay logic, control/safety circuits, and electronic boards
• Install, program, and start-up building automation equipment as needed
• Interpret electrical schematics and construction blueprints
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on control systems
• Work after hours for service/emergency calls when required
• Ensure safe work practices and OSHA compliance
