Job summary

Energy Systems Group (ESG) seeks a Building Automation Controls Technician for its Picatinny Arsenal site in Dover, NJ. This onsite, temporary assignment lasts 12–14 months and focuses on troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC control systems and building automation equipment.

The role requires experience with Bacnet, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to work after hours for service calls. OSHA compliance and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

3–6 years in building automation and instrumentation field
High school degree, vocational/technical training
Experience with Bacnet communication protocol
High level of knowledge of network architecture

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain HVAC control systems
Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Install, program and start up building automation equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests
Maintain master building automation display screens and software
Ensure safe work practices and OSHA compliance
