Qualifications

• Technical School or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in building automation industry, engineering, and programming background.
• Full understanding of HVAC controls and sequences of operation.
• Advanced knowledge of application programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, mechanical systems, electrical concepts, and building operations.
• Skilled in programming, startup, checkout, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel to offsite locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, update and oversight of building control systems in critical and non-critical environments; document PM procedures.
• Perform and supervise system checkout and assist in automation startups; manage work orders and reports.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex building control systems; coordinate with other departments for repairs.
• Complete troubleshooting, adjustments, and calibrations.
• Review building control programs for proper operation and efficiency.
• Use CMMS to generate work orders, document daily tasks, and report hours.
