Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Building Automation System Specialist to join the field team. The role focuses on sequence testing, project graphics, and point-to-point verification to ensure the system runs as efficiently as possible at client sites.

Mid Level experience is preferred. You will work with a team at client or project job sites to ensure proper installation of controls systems, as well as provide diagnostic and repair services, documentation and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Mid Level experience in building automation systems including sequence testing and project graphics.
• Ability to work on client or project sites coordinating with teams.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Record and report time, materials, faults, or other unusual occurrences on work orders.
• Complete customer service and expense reports.
• Document operational activities.
• Compile job documentation such as certificates of completion and training forms.
• Provide sketches or modify drawings for accurate documentation.
• Repair or replace worn or defective mechanical parts.
• Discuss system malfunctions with users to verify repairs.
• Develop or perform preventive maintenance procedures to improve efficiency.
• Advise others on repairs, installation, or equipment design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions to improve operations.

Job Details

In this role you will primarily perform and develop sequence testing, project graphics, and point to point verification ensuring the system runs as efficiently as possible. You will work as a part of a team at client or project job sites to ensure proper installation of controls systems, as well as provide diagnostic and repair services.

• Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other unusual occurrences on work orders.
• Complete customer service and expense reports.
• Document operational activities.
• Compile job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training forms, training certificates and punch lists.
• Provide sketches or make drawing modifications as needed for accurate project documentation.
• Repair/Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
• Discuss heating or cooling system malfunction with user to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected the issues.
• Recommend, develop, or perform preventive or general maintenance procedures, such as cleaning, tightening terminals, or vacuuming control panels.
• Advise others on issues related to repairs, installation, or equipment design.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions and makes recommendations that will improve efficiency or quality of operations.
