Job summary

ATS is seeking a Sales Engineer to build long-term B2B relationships with its customers in building automation and energy management. You will consult with architects, engineers, and owners on control systems and mechanicals, and provide cost estimates and project coordination to ensure successful delivery.

You’ll interface with ATS engineers and technicians, deliver technical presentations, and assume direct responsibility for project finances, supporting a diverse base of data centers,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering – Mechanical and Electrical engineering preferred.
• Building or mechanical systems experience.
• Professional B2B sales experience.
• Knowledge of DDC control theory & applications and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors and owners for building control and mechanical systems.
• Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans and specifications.
• Interface with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation.
• Deliver industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence building professionals.
• Maintain direct project financial responsibility within the sales engineering role.
• Serve a diverse client base including data centers, hospitals, government buildings, schools, and higher education facilities.
