Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ rep in North America, with 20 locations. This role leads project management from scope to close, coordinating installation subs and controls technicians to deliver on-time commissioning.

You will maintain client communications, manage budgets and risk, review submittals, and keep DivPro records, while ensuring high standards and safety with OSHA 30 responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong organizational and project planning skills with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required. If not current, OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be completed within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Maintain accurate project records, including milestones, billings, SoV, and documentation within DivPro.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.
• Approve and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.
