Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking an HVAC controls technician to support startup, testing and commissioning across commercial and industrial projects. You will contribute to system start-ups, verify controller integration and ensure smooth handoffs to operations.

The role requires 2 years of HVAC controls experience, PLCs and BAS knowledge, blueprint literacy and proficiency with Excel. You will collaborate with project managers and field staff to deliver reliable, safe building

Qualifications

• 2 years of HVAC controls experience.
• Experience with PLCs and BAS (Building Automation Systems).
• Familiar with blueprints.
• Computer savvy including Microsoft Excel.
• Must have commercial/industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily startup procedures.
• Running point-to-point checks (ensuring peripheral devices work with the controller).
• System startup.
• Functional testing (executing commissioning scripts).
• Communication and coordination with the project manager.
