Job summary

Harris Companies, inc seeks a Building Automation Project Manager I to lead and coordinate building automation projects from planning through close-out. The role involves liaising with owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues, manage schedules, and ensure quality.

You will oversee safety compliance, prepare budgets and change orders, and supervise the project team to meet milestones, deliverables, and client expectations. On-site work in Minnesota is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in building automation or construction project management.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints or construction problems.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure a safe work environment with OSHA compliance and safety audits.
• Perform site walkthroughs and inspections; administer project close-out including manuals and owner training.
