Job summary

Harris Company in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Building Automation System Specialist II to join our field team. You will perform sequence testing, develop project graphics, and conduct point-to-point verification to ensure systems run efficiently on client sites.

You will install control systems, diagnose issues, and provide repair services, working with a team across projects from stadiums to hospitals. A strong mechanical/Systems background and proficiency with Office are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems.
• 2+ years of understanding mechanical systems and operation.
• 2+ years of understanding building system engineering/technology.
• 2+ years of understanding building/construction materials, tools, processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform sequence testing, project graphics, and point-to-point verification.
• Work on client/project sites to ensure proper installation and provide diagnostics/repair services.
• Create images for wirings, designs, or system dashboards and present to customers.
• Document time, materials, faults, and other occurrences on work orders.
