Job summary

Harris is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial construction initiatives in Rochester, MN. You will coordinate with owners, designers, and subcontractors to drive schedule, quality, and safety, while managing budgets and change orders.

You will oversee planning, permits, and field coordination, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with OSHA and Harris standards, and effective client communication from kickoff to closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management and construction coordination.
• Ability to interpret plans and explain contract terms to stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Confer with supervisory personnel to discuss work procedures and resolve construction issues.
• Identify and resolve project problems with project personnel.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate project team activities and provide updates in meetings.
• Develop or update project plans including objectives, schedules, and staffing.
• Implement modifications in response to delays or emergencies.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and prepare budget/cost reports.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and ensure quality standards.
