Job summary

ATS Automation, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer for the Critical Facilities team. You will design and implement building automation and energy management systems, ensuring alignment with local energy codes and project specs.

You will also analyze performance, optimize efficiency, and interface with customers and subcontractors. The role involves programming DDC and PLC systems, developing front ends for end-users, and contributing to cost tracking and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
• Exposure to electronics and basic electrical circuits.
• Experience with basic programming concepts and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer building automation and energy management systems.
• Analyze system performance at campus level and ensure documentation.
• Program DDC and PLC systems to meet project specs.
• Create front ends for end-users to interface with the system.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, and project team.
• Monitor project financials and participate in audits.
• Contribute to company standards and continuous improvement.
