Job summary

Divcon is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support building automation and controls projects from installation through commissioning in Fargo, ND. You will coordinate field activities, maintain documentation, and assist with budget and schedule tracking under a Project Manager.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of construction or project coordination experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or related field (BAS, MEP, HVAC preferred).
• Experience supporting project execution, documentation, or field coordination.
• Exposure to project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, or construction processes preferred.
• Working knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC controls, or electrical systems preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities across BAS/controls projects.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Support budget tracking, purchase orders, and billing.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and technicians for timely task completion.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and risks.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
