Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Operations Manager to lead staff across software development, engineering, installation and technical services. You will oversee resources, work with project managers, and strive to maximize customer satisfaction while meeting revenue and profit goals.

The role requires extensive experience in building technology systems, cost and budget forecasting, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• OSHA-30 certification desirable
• All licenses and certifications required to work in an operating group
• Five (5) years of operations experience in engineering, installation, and service of building technology systems with five (5) years of management experience in operations
• Eight (8) years’ experience in HVAC, BAS, Security or Professional Building Services with five (5) years of management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee application, design, installation, and service of all company products and services
• Direct staff across software development, engineering, project management, installation and technical services
• Forecast equipment, manpower and budget requirements for construction projects
• Monitor cost and labor performance to ensure profitability and align with project plans
• Develop and enforce Operations Department policies, training, daily planning and scheduling
• Develop innovations to reduce expenses, improve products, and enhance safety
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer management staff
• Review and approve contracts and support sales efforts
