Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a skilled engineer to design, configure, and operate comprehensive building control systems, including fire and security subsystems. You will develop software, perform commissioning, and provide submittals for customers and field teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating drawings and schedules, selecting materials, and ensuring proper operation across subsystems. Travel is required; a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum 3 years' experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC/building systems and control theory.
• Experience with building subsystems integration using protocols (LON, BACnet).

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, and operation of complete building control systems including fire, security, and sub-systems to meet project requirements.
• Develops complex software programs and commissioning to ensure proper operations.
• Provides submittals and communicates design to customers, consultants, field team and subcontractors.
• Coordinates drawings, equipment schedules, and material deliveries for submittals and installation.
