Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a BAS Programmer/Technician to join a team responsible for installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems.

Clear communication with customers, contractors, engineers and teammates is essential. Responsibilities include managing installation subcontractors, creating software programs, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing technical support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems, BACnet, Siemens Apogee.
• Proficient reading of wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with IP networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase to keep schedule on track.
• Create software programs and animated front end graphics for projects.
• Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure complete system function.
• Perform service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
• Coordinate customer training and complete closeout documents.
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees as needed.
• The Programmer/Technician will follow other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers and fellow team members.

Job Duties:

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase of project to keep them on track and on schedule.
• Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.
• Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
• Performs service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
• Coordinate customer-training and complete closeout documents
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems, BACnet, Siemens Apogee.

• Both written and verbal communication skills a must.
• Proficient with IP networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Occasional travel may be required.
