Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a BAS Programmer/Technician to join a team responsible for installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting and servicing of DDC building automation systems in Houston.

You will communicate with customers, contractors and engineers to ensure the system functions as designed, perform commissioning, checkouts and training, and support end-users with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems, BACnet, Siemens Apogee.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with IP networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase to keep them on track and on schedule.
• Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.
• Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
• Performs service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
• Coordinate customer-training and complete closeout documents
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.

Job Description:

BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers and fellow team members.

Job Duties:

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase of project to keep them on track and on schedule.
• Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.
• Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
