Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a BAS Programmer/Technician in Austin, TX to join a team responsible for installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting and servicing of DDC building automation systems.

You will communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers and team members while ensuring proper system operation and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with DDC Building Automation Systems, BACnet, Siemens Apogee.
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with IP networks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation subcontractor during construction phase of project to keep them on track and on schedule.
• Creation of software programs and animated front end graphics.
• Checkout, start-up and commissioning on projects.
• Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
• Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
• Performs service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building systems.
• Coordinate customer-training and complete closeout documents.
• Provide technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable.
• The Programmer/Technician will follow and perform other instructions and other related duties as set forth by management.

BAS Programmer/Technician will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, contractors, engineers and fellow team members.

Job Duties:
